March and April are filled with the stirrings of spring, flowers blooming, time off from school, and one of the happiest of holidays, Easter.
It’s time well spent in the Lowcountry… and better yet, at the beach. Temps are moderate, rates are lower than summer's high season, and the calendar's full of extraordinary events.
And one of Exclusive Properties' Isle of Palms vacation rentals is the ideal place to call home while you’re here. We’re running a special promo on spring break bookings, but you have to act fast. (Skip to the end for the deets.)
To do, or not to do? That is the question.
You may just want to relax by the beach, and that’s an excellent plan. When you’re taking a break from work or school, there’s a lot to be said for unplugging and doing a reset.
It reminds me of a quote from one of my favorite authors, Anne Lamott.
Her book, “Traveling Mercies” makes great beach reading, by the way.
And the beach is, by nature, the ideal place to do it. Be lulled by the soothing sounds of the waves, as you dip your toes in the water and feel the ocean breeze on your face. The sights and sounds, the aromas and expansive sky are supremely serene and peaceful.
Which reminds me of another good quote…
For those who’d rather do…
