There are more ways than ever to get to one of our beach rentals Charleston, and good news: it’s at a great rate. This news will be of particular interest if you happen to live in Ohio, Indiana or Pennsylvania.
Flying to CHS is a great way to get to our beach rentals Charleston
If you’re heading to one of our rental homes South Carolina, whether it’s a luxury house on Isle of Palms or a Folly Beach house Charleston, flying here is a good option. CHS, as it’s known, is the busiest airport in the state and a great gateway to our SC vacation rentals. As I’ve mentioned before, Charleston International Airport is flying high. Having recently undergone a $200 million expansion and modernization, it’s better than ever. And the good news just keeps coming down the pike. It was just about a month ago that the news came out, that American will be adding twice-daily direct flights to Chicago O’Hare. They’ll take place from May 4th – November 2nd. Frontier also announced it will be adding Monday and Friday flights to Chicago as well. You can read more about it here.
A new airline comes to CHS
Well, yet another airline recently made a big announcement. For the first time, low-cost airline Allegiant will be serving CHS. They’ll be providing flights to/from Charleston and three major cities. Beginning in April, they’ll offer nonstop service from Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and Cincinnati. As a result of the move, 30,000 people will come to the Lowcountry. Based in Las Vegas, Allegiant already serves Myrtle Beach and Savannah. But this is big news for CHS – the busiest airport in the state. And they were offering some amazingly low introductory rates, in the $48 dollar range. The more you save on flights to Charleston, the more you can spend on one of our beach house rentals Charleston SC. You can upgrade your choice to one of our Isle of Palms luxury rentals right on the beach, with all the bells and whistles.
Following are some quotes about it…
"Charleston offers beautiful scenery and an authentic Southern charm that we know our passengers will enjoy, and we’re so excited to be the new carrier of choice to this amazing city." - Lukas Johnson, Allegiant's senior VP of commercial services
"The addition of these three new important cities to our expanding network of nonstop markets will help to ensure another year of record passengers traveling to and from our region. Allegiant’s unique business model will make air travel a realistic option for more people in our area.” - Paul Campbell, CEO of Charleston International
“The entire hospitality industry welcomes Allegiant to the Charleston area… Allegiant will offer the convenience of nonstop service to the good people of Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and Cincinnati, so they can learn firsthand the appeal of Charleston. We strongly believe that expanded air service from new nonstop cities will allow our industry to grow responsibly, while offering local residents an obvious benefit.” - Helen Hill, CEO of Explore Charleston (the Lowcountry’s tourism agency) & member of the Aviation Authority
