IOP Sandsculpting Competition

Be sure to check out a favorite Piccolo event, the 35th Annual Sandsculpting Competition right here on the Isle of Palms' Front Beach.  It will take place on a Saturday during Spoleto starting at 9:00 a.m.

You and your crew are invited to sign up, stake out your spot, and create your own work of (sand)art for a chance to win prizes and island bragging rights.  

They'll award 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in the following categories:

• Adults (ages 21 and up);
• Family (at least one adult & one young adult or child);
• Young Adults (ages 15 to 20);
• Children (ages 14 and under);
• Best Architectural;
• Most Creative.

They'll also select the big kahuna, "Best in Show."

This is a fun event for all ages, whether you are creating one yourself or just checking out the action.  It's part of Piccolo Spoleto and is a free event.
