Description

As part of our Island Collection, Whispering Palms- 8 31st Ave is a charming beach house you won’t forget. Located just one short block from the ocean, you can easily hop on the beach path at the end of the street. Enjoy spending beach time with family and friends in the large open floor plan. The home includes five spacious bedrooms and four and half bathrooms, large open living spaces, two porches, a rooftop and a convenient elevator to help with luggage and groceries.

The first floor has three bedrooms. The first has two twin beds and a full ensuite bathroom with a bath/shower combination. Walk down the hall to the next bedroom with a queen bed and a full ensuite bathroom with a bath/shower combination. Across the hall is the sizeable master with a comfy king bed, walk-in closet, private porch and generous bathroom. The master is a perfect oasis with two reading chairs, a hammock on the private porch and the bathroom is equipped with a relaxing garden tub, stand up shower and his and her sinks.

Walk up the stairs or take the elevator to the main floor. The openness creates an easy flow from the dining room to the kitchen, living room, and breakfast nook. Open the French doors to the porch and enjoy an afternoon lunch or walk up the spiral staircase to the roof top to sunbathe and check out the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of your essentials; stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets and granite countertops. Enjoy a family meal at the dining room table with extra bar seating at the kitchen counter and a breakfast table across the living room. Also on this floor are the other two bedrooms. One is a king and the other is a queen. They share a bathroom with a bath/shower combination. There’s also a convenient half bath down the hall.

Added amenities include a large garage with extra fridge, stand alone ice maker and gas grill. When you come back from a day on the beach, rinse off in the outside shower or eat lunch on the picnic table. This Isle of Palms gem will not disappoint.

Whispering Palms is such a nice house. It is well stocked and met all of our needs. Loved being a block from the beach. It was so comfortable we felt like we were home. We definitely will be rebooking for next year.

This was the perfect spot for a weeks get away vacation with my sisters. We would take daily walks on the beach which is a couple of blocks away. Also, because it was not far out on the Isle, it was also easy to get to the grocery store, to Mt Pleasant for shopping, or downtown Charleston. The property management especially Karen was wonderful and always immediately responsive to any concerns or questions. I would highly recommend.

My extended family gathered here for a wedding on Memorial Day weekend and it was just what we needed! A block from the beach, with tons of beach toys, chairs, and wagons. The 3 balconies are where we spend the majority of our time. The rental company was very quick to answer any questions we had and even came out on a Sunday to work on the dishwasher and sink after we had an issue. If you're looking for a large home close to the beach this is the one!!!

Whispering Palms home was simply beautiful. No expense spared; furnishings and decor are fabulous. The home was very clean and conviently located —5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute drive for groceries. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful, Cozy and a Great Location!

This home was great for our family. We have 5 adult children (ages 21-33) and this fit us perfectly. The living room was spacious and we never felt crowded or on top of each other. The table was a bit tight for 8 of us but we borrowed chairs from the round table and could make it work! The roof deck was beautiful and a fun spot to end the day. There were 1 or 2 things we had to call maintenance to come fix but they were so kind and came over immediately, it was never a problem. The Staff (Karen!) was great and helpful! They checked in on us at the beginning and mid-week just to make sure things were running smoothly. We had a great experience with Exclusive Properties and at this home! We will be looking for this home, or another one just like it for our next family vacation. p.s. beach toys, carts, chairs, a grill, 2nd fridge!, and ice machine were all in the garage and where such a nice surprise to have and use! The elevator was really cool and accessible - very fancy!

Beautiful home & great location for our girls trip!! Close enough to Charleston for daily adventures and sight seeing but far enough away to feel we were “escaping” the busy city to enjoy the quaint area of Isle of Palms and all it had to offer! Home was fully equipped necessities. The layout was perfect to allow us to spend time together while also having space for yourself. The rooftop deck was a huge added bonus! Rental company was wonderul to work with! Would highly recommend!

Our family of 9 ranging in age from 67 to 6 months thoroughly enjoyed our week at Whispering Pines on Isle of Palms! The house was spacious with several areas to gather or to find quiet time. The bedroom/bathroom arrangements were perfect for our family. The kitchen was accommodating and the grill worked great for our 4th of July cookout! We loved the neighborhood and the proximity to the beach. The rental company was helpful with suggestions and overall great! We hope to go back in the future!

We so enjoyed our stay here with our family. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen, it was very well stocked and a great size. The wagons for the beach were fantastic, we pulled our two toddlers in them! Beautiful house, thank you so much! We look forward to coming back!!!

The house was very clean with modern amenities, etc. Elevator a BIG plus for hauling in all of our bags and groceries.The layout was perfect for our short three night stay with our adult children getting together in the Charleston area for a wedding. Parking was no problem with five autos coming from five cities for our family rendezvous. The kitchen was VERY well equipped and stocked with everything one would need to prepare meals, etc. Although not beachfront, there is easy beach access even though the time of year, weather etc. wasn't conducive to beach time. The management folks at Exclusive Properties were very easy to work with and communicated very well with us before, during and after our stay. We'd love to come again and spend more time.

Great 5 bedroom house with lots of space for family. Rooftop deck has 360 degree views of ocean and island. One block walk to beach and five min bike ride to Wild Dunes marina. House well cared for and owner's are very quick to help make your stay more enjoyable. Highly recommend this house.
