The Only Home In South Carolina to be on VRBO’s top 11 homes in US and Mexico out of over 2 Million homes and part of our Luxury Collection, 'Port of Call' is an oceanfront mansion located on prestigious Isle of Palms, South Carolina. This expansive oceanfront home represents luxury living at its finest. If you are planning a large retreat or family reunion, you will have plenty of room because this home sleeps up to thirty-four people in beds (city allows 28 overnight, but this does not include children under 2 yrs old).

The interior of this 7,000 sq. ft. home contains 11 beautifully furnished bedrooms and 11 1/2 bathrooms. Eight of these bedrooms are king master suites and three are bunk bedrooms. There's an additional 1,500 sq. ft. of outdoor decks from which to enjoy the spectacular ocean views. Features include an elevator, *heatable pool, chipping green, ping pong table, outside wet bar with fridge and ice bucket, fire pit and much more! Every room has a flat screen TV and an additional DVD player in the kids rooms and media room. Also, all rooms have an en suite full private bathroom. There are hardwood floors throughout, a large great room open to the newly renovated gourmet kitchen, with top of the line stainless steel Thermador appliances. The new kitchen features new granite countertops, new cabinetry, a 48" gas range stove with three ovens, pot filler, side by side fridge, wet bar with ice maker, and beverage cooler.

The first floor of this amazing home features the main living areas and six bedrooms tucked away from the main area. Four of these bedrooms are king suites with private bathrooms and porch access. One of these kings is designed for wheelchair accessibility (not ADA approved) with wide doorways and roll-in shower. The other two bedrooms are bunk bedrooms with two sets of bunks, single over double in each (sleeps six kids in each room).

The second level boasts a large media and entertainment room with large flat screen TV, lots of seating and a DVD player. Bring your own games and movies and enjoy spending time in the media room with family and friends. Also, on this floor you will find the other five bedrooms with private bathrooms-- four of these are king suites, three of which have porch access and the last room is a bunk bedroom with two single of double bunks.

Back down on the first floor and off the dining room, guests can relax on the screened in porch that looks out to the private pool, fire pit and the ocean beyond. Enjoy steaks and burgers cooked on the large gas grill or roast marshmallows by fire. When you aren't swimming laps in your private, in-ground 46 ft Sportsman pool, you may take a stroll down the private boardwalk to the beach, past your own chipping green, to sit in the gazebo and enjoy the sunset.

Fantastic property! The house is beautiful inside and out. It was perfect for our retreat. Plenty of space for our 20+ group to sleep comfortably. Great location. Very close to both IOP restaurants and Sullivan Island. Couldn't say enough good things about this house and the office staff. They were very friendly and answered all of my questions.

We have a group of 20+ college girlfriends in our 50's now who get together every other year. We have stayed here twice, and this is our favorite home to come to. The home is very clean, it is lovely, the location is great, the kitchen is well stocked, management company process was very smooth, etc. We hope to stay here again.

My party of 13 women stayed at this gorgeous home for 3 nights. It was the perfect location to celebrate a milestone birthday! The photos don't do the home justice, it's quite spectacular. Stunning views, amazing house, space and more space… it was a unique and wonderful experience. Our group of 13 was practically swimming in this home…we could have had double the number comfortably. Highly recommend for a large group and/or special occasion! We used Groceries Ahead for staples and alcohol delivery, and chef Madeline Lytton for our meals (highly recommend). It was a wonderful weekend!

Dreamy Wedding House

To start this off, this house was beyond our expectations. From the first steps of walking in, you felt like you were in an oasis. The house smelled clean, TVs were playing music, and all the lights were on and it was truly just magical. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils you could ever need. Each bedroom was extremely spacious. This house was used for our wedding and it couldn't have been a better house/location for the type of intimate wedding that we desired. If you're looking for a small, intimate wedding house/ location, look no further because this is the one. We will hopefully be back in years to come!!

Besides being a stunning, spacious, open layout, ocean views, gorgeously decorated, in a great location, this home is dreamy and truly is the most perfect escape. The important things-yes clean, in an area super easy to get around (easy to relax or island explore), the reservation co very responsive, house comes stocked, and more. The property management, Karen and Sandy, do a great job telling you what the house comes with and they also provide a suggestion list. They also have great referrals to these items-we rented corn hole from Beach and Games To Go in Isle of Palms (the owners are amazing), golf carts from Just Beachy (so easy to reserve online), bikes from Carolina Bike and Beach (Rick and Angela amazing) and a oyster and blue crab with seafood boil with the guys from The Smoking Pot. Listen, the house is an easy drive to other places, but it is a stunning experience in itself. We could not have enjoyed it more. And the fact that it was clean, things were not broken or half worked, had supplies and excellent communication made it a dream from start to finish. We all were living our best life!

This was a perfect getaway for my wife's 40th birthday. We had a total of 20 people at the house (ages ranged from 1 through 75), and the house+location had something for everyone. We expected to travel a few times into Charleston during our stay, but ended up only going in once because there was so many options for things to do when staying at the house (enjoy the house, pool, and/or beach). The management company was very responsive to any questions we had, and we would recommend this house to anyone in a heartbeat.

This house was even better than the pictures! Clearly recently updated, carpets looked brand new. Spacious bedrooms and each bedroom has a private bathroom, making it perfect for our group with 9 couples + babies (+ nanny). Made for a luxury beach weekend reunion with friends.

Staying at Port of Call was the best family get away for the 16 of us. We ranged in age from five to seventy five and a magnificent time was had by all! The home is gorgeous and spacious with every amenity a person could want. Having the heated pool, the putting green, the huge lawn expanse and being right on the ocean all made for a perfect vacation. There were plenty of places to play or simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the property. The sunrises and sunsets and shell collecting were amazing. We could not have asked for a more perfect place for a long postponed family get away. The management property was helpful with suggestions as well as incredibly responsive if we needed anything done or taken care of. We highly recommend Port of Call!!!

This was the perfect home for our family get away. There were 16 of us, ranging in age from 5 to 75 and the house was big enough so that everyone could spread out and have some privacy when needed, but be together in the large common living spaces. Everything was clean and luxurious. The heated pool provided hours of fun and being right on the ocean for walks, swimming, shell collecting and watching the sunrises and sunsets was amazing. The management company was very responsive to all of our needs and requests. They were also so helpful in giving referrals for private chefs and things to do. As a family, we created beautiful memories and all the younger kids are already asking to return!

House is spacious, plenty of room to share with large families, we had 19 family members attend. Kitchen is well equipped to support large meal prep and cleanup. We heated the pool and that was a big hit with the kids. Large backyard for corn hole, Frisbee, throwing football and baseball. Outdoor fire pit was used nightly and a great way to wind down the day. Board walk to beach was great and the spacious decks provided outstanding views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean. Golf, fishing and outstanding shopping and food was all readily available. With all the splendor the home offered, we would have liked to have move comfortable seating area in the main floor living room. We would stay at Port A Call again and recommend the property to all those looking for a luxurious family get a way on Isle of Palms!

As a person who is in the marketing business, am use to trying to find the right words. But when it comes to describing this property, truly think that words cannot describe what an awesome place this is for large families and groups. Had 21 people stay here and we all had accommodations that go over the top. Plenty of room for everybody and first class in every way. One amazing thing about this house is despite everything being luxurious, the house still has some of those touches that make it feel warm and welcoming. And the folks are Exclusive Properties are really friendly folks who balance good customer service with genuine caring about their guests. Thank you so much Exclusive Properties for making this one of the most memorable incredible get togethers ever for our family!!

Our 19 person family reunion at Port of Call, 3400 Palm Blvd. couldn't have been better. The Exclusive Properties (EP) staff were extraordinarily responsive during both our pre-travel preparations and during our stay, so our vacation was worry-free! The house was better than described…clean, beautifully decorated and full of amenities. It had the ideal combination of private and gathering space and the gourmet kitchen included everything we needed to prepare our big family meals. Our sports fans appreciated the many TVs and especially the media room. The yard was perfect for family lawn and golf games. The pool was warm and had plenty of surrounding gathering space, including a fire pit for the cooler evenings. The ocean view from the house was spectacular. We all enjoyed the beautiful beach every day, including the winding beach boardwalk and gazebo. We liked the convenient location of the house – close to the grocery store, restaurants and shops and just a quick drive to the charming city of Charleston, Sullivan's Island, and a variety of activities (fishing, etc.). Thank you EP for helping make our reunion very memorable! We highly recommend both EP and Port of Call to anyone thinking of vacationing in the Charleston area.

Simply the Best House on The Island

This was our second stay at 3400 Palm Blvd and it was amazing last time, but thanks to some barely-needed renovations, the house is officially beyond measure. The layout and pictures are accurate (though the bunk rooms have newer and nicer furniture). The house is clean and perfectly maintained. The layout is perfect for a large group. We have rented from other agencies in the Charleston and Kiawah area and decided after this trip that we will only rent through Exclusive Properties (who manages the VRBO link). They bend over backwards to accommodate special requests, and even when a request can't be fulfilled (in our case, a late check out due to another group's arrival), they are so kind and reasonable that you feel like you're dealing with an old friend. We had no issues with the property, and the only activities that took part in took place on the grounds of the house: cooking big meals in the kitchen, swimming in the heated pool, holding a father/son golf tournament on the one hole golf course in the back, playing full football games on the green, and enjoying the beach. We will be back! In fact, we've already booked the same house for our next gathering a mere 6 hours after departure.

This spacious beach front home was the perfect spot to celebrate our mother's 100 birthday! The 19 family members gathered from across the country and found plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed to feed our hungry group each day. The spacious yard with its chipping and putting green was a hit as was the large pool and ping pong table. The board walk and mid way gazebo gave us an easy access to the beautiful beach. Riding bikes, flying kites, collecting sea shells, surf fishing, or going for a walk on the beach were activities we enjoyed. The property management company was excellent and quickly responded to every request. Bottom line was that this vacation rental was fabulous in every way and proved to be the perfect place for our family's celebration.

Everything was top notch. Couldn't have asked for more.

We rented this incredible home for our wedding party and a group of our wedding guests, and it made for an unforgettable weekend that we will treasure forever. To echo many of the previous reviews, Port of Call is even more beautiful in person, which we didn't think was possible -- The house is absolutely immaculate, and the entire property is like something out of The Great Gatsby, with gorgeous porches, a crystal blue pool, and unbelievable views of the ocean. It was the perfect space for our group, as people could either relax in the privacy of their own bedrooms, or mingle together in any of the common spaces (main living area, patios, pool, yard, boardwalk, beach). It was also great because whenever the wedding party had wedding-related obligations to attend to, we never felt like we were neglecting our guests since they could chill out at the pool or beach, explore Isle of Palms, or take a short drive into downtown Charleston. The kitchen was very well equipped for large group dinners, and we used the grill to make burgers and hotdogs for everybody one night. The staff at Exclusive Properties was very friendly, attentive, and responsive to all communication, which made the whole experience even better. All in all, it was an amazing weekend that we will never forget!

Amazing Stay at Port of Call

We truly had an amazing stay at Port of Call on the Isle of Palms. There were over 20 of us in our family group. The house is spacious and bright and looks out on gorgeous views of the ocean and the beach that goes on for miles in both directions. The kids loved the pool and the beach and the surf. We had lots of activities planned in and around Charleston but some of our best times were simply hanging out at the house relaxing and enjoying all it had to offer.

We picked the property initially based on it's location and the pictures we saw online. I couldn't believe it, but the house was nicer than it even looks online! We brought a large group and at no point did anyone feel they were on top of each other or they didn't have their own space. The yard, boardwalk, beach, pool and recreation areas were fantastic. The house was clean and had many updates. The staff at Exclusive Properties was very nice and easy to work with. We liked it so much, we plan to come back next year! If the house is in your budget, it's no doubt the place you should rent!

It was the best beach vacation ever (even in February). The house was even more than we expected. Every room and bathroom was immaculate, the kitchen was stocked with all the appliances we needed. As for the pool...we're still day-dreaming about it. Beautiful porches, views and walks on the beach! Perfect place families!

Amazing House!

This house was amazing! The view was spectacular and the pool was so enjoyable with the heat on. All the bedrooms had immaculate bathrooms and the kitchen had every gadget a cook would need. I would highly recommend this house for a large family vacation!

An Absolutely Amazing Beach House Experience!!!

Port of Call is a Beach House like no other!!! The kitchen is well stocked so cooking is a pleasure. The bedrooms are beautiful and adjoining bathrooms superb. The rooms are all spacious and the back patio/pool area is perfect. We used the pool every day and barbecued as well. My grandchildren LOVED the entertainment room!!! The porches made it wonderful to sit outside with a cocktail or curl up and read a book. My daughter's wedding week was a delight using this wonderful home as our base. Everyone loved it and would like to stay for two weeks on our next Beach Week Holiday in Charleston!!!

The pictures on the web site don't do this property justice. It is so much more fantastic than can be expressed by the pictures shown. This home is incredibly furnished inside and out. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset on the porches and an evening cocktail by the fire pit. The kids played football in the yard, practiced chipping and putting and had a mean ping-pong tournament. 25 Family members for all over the country gathered in the "Port of Call" home at the beginning of August. We had an absolutely wonderful week and wish we could have stayed forever. The house was beautiful. The grounds were immaculate, the beach was one of the best we have ever been on. When there was a problem, it was fixed promptly with friendly and warm caring people. I would recommend this home to anyone who needs a large home with private accommodations for everyone. Wish I could rate it with ten stars.

We have done a family reunion for the last 4 years at 3400 Palm Blvd. Great house. Our family (about 30 of us) love it and look forward each year to spending a week at this house. Bedrooms are really good with a bathroom with each room. Pool is excellent and the location to the beach is unbeatable. The owner have done many upgrades over the past 2 years. The rental company is great to work with and have always taken care of us if we have a problem

Our family of 30 had a wonderful vacation on IOP, not only because of the perfect weather, but because of the comfortable and spacious Port of Call. Extensive renovation has occurred since our last visit in 2012 enhancing the beauty of the surroundings. Everyone enjoyed the large green space between beach and pool as well as the putting green. The kitchen is easy to navigate even with several cooks, and the dining room easily accommodated our crowd. We would love to stay at this home again.

My family and I have been renting on the Isle of Palms for the last six years. We need a large house (ten plus bedrooms) for two weeks at the peak of the season. Given this demand, there is limited supply and when it comes to securing a high-end house with a high-end setting there is really only choice which is 3400 Palm.It is the only large house on the water away from the masses of people near the boardwalk and on Ocean. The location is perfect as the beach is rarely crowded and there are limited day trippers that far up Palm. The house provides a great way to take advantage of the location as it has great views from multiple floors and porches. The pool is conveniently located and big enough to fit the fifteen plus kids and adults and the chaos that ensues. The house itself is well laid out – the first floor is an extremely social area which is big enough to accommodate multiple activities and groups. But as it is all one area, the space is surprisingly intimate and you can easily move between spending time with different people. One of the big differences between this house and many others that we have rented is the focus on large bedrooms rooms and recently renovated bedrooms. There is not a bad bedroom in the house which is something that you cannot determine from photos, as many other houses have photos of just the nice bedrooms/bathrooms. Assigning rooms without complaints is easy and sets the vacation up for success from the start.The recent renovations have really made a difference, especially the new bathrooms and showers which are just what you need after a day of sweat and sunscreen!. This is a house without a weakness and, when something has broken or needs to be addressed, Exclusive is very quick and decisive in their response. I wanted to send this review on behalf of all my family and friends who have stayed there over the years. Some of the details above cannot be discerned from a website but make all the difference. And they do with 3400!

Great Stay!

Our stay at Port of Call was absolutely wonderful. We could not have asked for a better location for my daughter's small Christmas Wedding. It was the perfect layout, decorating was excellent because it was minimal and not "all over the place", staff was of great help to direct me to this location, very clean…what more can I say. There did seem to be a problem with the lower over - twice I had to take it out and finish cooking in the upper oven, this did not hinder anything but thought you should check it, could have been the user (lol).

Amazing house for family reunion

We had 12 kids and 16 adults for a family reunion and this house was perfect for us. The bedrooms and baths are huge and spread out so it never seemed that there were that many of us there until we all gathered in the kitchen/living area which accommodated all of us for community time. The pool was great. Isle of Palms is lovely and Charleston is close and so much fun. It all could not have been better. Deb

Senior Boys' Spring Break

We had a group of 7 high school senior boys and their parents from Richmond, VA who had 4 nights to go someplace for Spring Break. We wanted a manageable drive and a house that would make everyone comfortable with great bedroom situations and lots of amenities. Port of Call stood out above all the other options we considered. And it did not disappoint in any way. The bunk rooms with twin over full beds were ideal for the boys. And there were plenty of master suites for the parents to be happy, too. But the best part was that the house was so great, the boys never felt like they had to leave. The media room was their haven. But most of the time they were in the pool, chipping golf balls to the putting green, swimming in the pool, or playing on the beach. The oceanfront lawn was set up with toys we brought from home, like cornhole. The huge kitchen and dining spaces made feeding the group fun and easy. Although the pool was not heated when we arrived, the owner went above & beyond by showing up himself to heat the pool to our satisfaction. Great restaurants are just a few minutes away. But it's tough to leave this gorgeous house that offers everything you'll need. If you have a large group for any occasion, I highly recommend Port of Call!

We recently stayed here with our large family (22 of us) ranging in age from 2 to 88.The house was perfect! Megan was a delight to work with! Photos were accurate! Property very clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend! I took my whole family with me, and they all loved it too. Nearby activities include shopping for everyone and every taste, golf,golf, and more golf, excellent private beach front and all the activities that go along with that, bike rentals, plantation tours, historic tours and carriage rides, and food, food, and more food. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and negotiating a fair price. The private pool was great! The boardwalk made getting to the beach so easy with lots of kids and a stroller. The 2 outdoor showers were perfectly placed! I can't say enough good things about this house and the Exclusive Properties staff, especially Megan! We were also impressed with how friendly EVERYONE was; from our neighbors to our waiters...they were all so nice! This community is a very safe place. I never once felt uneasy or insecure. The kids had a great time and so did all the adults! We will be coming back for sure! Thanks!

Great home base for daughter's destination wedding

We stayed at PortOCall while in Charleston for our daughter's wedding. The couple's friends made this their home base and had a blast. The pool, ping pong table and ocean was one big playground. The home allowed us to provide housing for our family as well as bridesmaids. A large amount of storage was available in each room as well as the pantry, utility room and kitchen. Many gathering places were available for groups - the gazebo, back porch, pool, living room, garage, dining area and media room. The bed rooms were very large with comfortable beds. The kitchen had several counter areas that were very functional for food service. We found that this home allowed us to enjoy all the different groups of people that visited during the week were on the island.

Took 12 men to Isle of Palm for a golf event and rented this house for our stay. Bedrooms, bathrooms & kitchen all great and plenty of room to spread out and relax. Media room with projector was great for watching the national championship football game & for the most part, our stay was really nice. Only negatives would be the living room furniture is old and very uncomfortable and the entertainment center in the living room was poorly designed with doors that are meant to hide the big TV that actually hinder the view of the TV from everywhere in the large kitchen and great room except for right in front of the TV. Would stay there again.

Our family vacation worked out perfectly as little children & adults all had their own room/baths which made for very happy people. Shelly & Megan were very responsive to a couple of "blips" & very delightful. Having the pool heated was a good choice for our group & having dinners catered spoiled all of us. Poe's (on Sullivan Island) is a favorite dinner choice of our group as is buying fresh seafood at Shem Creek.
