Part of our exclusive collection, 'Casa Banana', 914 Ocean Blvd., is sure to have you coming back for more. With its fun and colorful decor and many lush amenities, this six bedroom, seven and a half bathroom house can sleep up to 20 people. In addition to its amazing ocean front views, its upgraded amenities include a private pool with two kiddie pools, an above ground hot tub, big backyard, and private boardwalk access. The private elevator has access to all floors and can be used by those in need of assistance.

Enter into this pirate's dream and let the winds take you into the living space where a large screen TV can be enjoyed on one of the two plush leather sofas, or the plenty of other seating options around. The fully equipped and recently renovated kitchen contains dual, high end appliances and beautiful granite countertops. You don't need to worry about food storage because this home comes with four refrigerators. Meals can be enjoyed in the ample seating of the dining areas, inside or on the first floor porch. This floor is also home to the billiards room, stocked with all necessary equipment, TV and full bathroom. Bedroom number one, "The Love Shack", is located just off of the kitchen and houses a king and a Double bed and a full bathroom with a stand up shower.

Go up the stairs where five more bedrooms are located, each with its own bathroom and TV. The 'Rock n Roll Room' and the 'Locker Room' each hold two king beds and private bathrooms. In the 'Cat Room' and the 'Hollywood Room' a king and queen bed lie perpendicular with a private bathroom.. The 'Jungle Room' has a king bed with a private bathroom with a stand up shower. Beautiful ocean views and porch access can be enjoyed from the 'Locker Room', 'Hollywood Room', and 'Cat Room'.

You will never forget the magical memories created at Casa Banana and your family will beg to come back year after year.

Elevator measurements: the elevator is 30” x 41”. Max. Weight Limit: 450 lbs.
Elevator access is granted to our guests that need it for health or mobility reasons. Children are not allowed to ride in the elevator alone, unsupervised or play/jump in the elevator at any time.
As with all mechanical equipment, occasionally problems arise with the elevator. Should issues occur, we will make every effort to repair the elevator as quickly as possible. However, we will not be held liable for any loss of use due to mechanical difficulties, malfunction or down time while the elevator is being repaired or waiting to be repaired.
The elevator is not considered part of the home rental. Rental monies will not be refunded due to the elevator not working properly during your stay.

First family going bananas on Thanksgiving!

I was pretty stressed out because this is the first time we have gathered for Thanksgiving as a family. The house is laid out perfectly for us. Everyone had to contribute to making the dinner and we couldn't have done it without such an amazing kitchen!! 2 stovetops, 2 ovens, 3 refrigerators! So many beds! All of the crazy stuff on the walls to talk about. The pool table room was a great gathering place, as were the two big round tables. One for the puzzle and one for the Mexican Train games! The hot tub was also a wonderful place to gather. The pools were chilly but the Alaska kids were in it daily! Thank you for the stay. We already booked for next year. We would love to meet the owner if they would like to meet a crazy family next year!

This was an amazing house for our group to stay. The location is perfect - easy access to the beach, in walking distance to restaurants & bars, and easy to get to. The house is very spacious, clean, and designed in quite a fun way. The host was great as well. Highly recommend!

Between the beautiful beach, the pool, the hot tub, the pool table, game nights, puzzles, big family dinners, etc. We almost never venture beyond 914 Ocean Blvd. Cousins get a precious week together and love every minute. "I didn't want to go home!" Casa Banana is big time paradise on Isle of Palms. Who could ask for anything more?! The theme filled house is so much to expore. Staying here is like a field trip every day spoken from one who knows, a retired school teacher. :-) If you like to cook, the kitchen will be what you would like to explore. If you like the views of the ocean, take your pick. The views are everywhere. My favorite place for a beautiful view for hours is the swing on the right corner of the top balony. My favorite place to have my quiet time is the right side downstairs on the porch with the ocean and the pool in view. I am not a pool person at the beach, but I enjoyed many hours at this pool fellowshipping with friends with the choice of sun or shade always. All the furnishings, the beds, the baths, the... everything is top notch. Casa Banana is like no other in many ways. When do I get to come back!??

Really great stay. House is spacious w/awesome kitchen and great views of beach & sunrise. The kids enjoyed the pool table & playing games. The adults enjoyed the live music @ the Jammer – especially the Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Dinner at Acme was great! If you can, get to the Sullivan's Island beach at least once. Beautiful scenery that is very different than IOP. We will be back.

Had an extended family stay here. It was amazing with all the separate rooms! Kids enjoyed the pool table every night. If ever it rained we were in the hot tub. Except the last night, we had a heavy storm, but we love to play outside and did so every day whether or not it rained. The dock was super convenient as we were able to go to and from as many times a day as we wanted. Both adults and kids had a blast with the themed bedrooms, many stating that the cat room is "creepy". What fun and a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. Couldn't have asked for more!

This place is AMAZING! While I confess that the pirates in the entryway are a little unnerving – at first – this place is incredible. The pool & beach are wonderful, it's close to so many things, & it's spacious enough to host a group of friends/pepole who don't dislike each other for a full week. Thank you for such a spectacular place & an amazing week-long vacation! Absolutely LOVED my experience at Casa Banana! This house is truly a paradise and I wish that I could live here. Every room is beyond spectacular and the themes are so fun. My absolute favorite room was the jungle room – the ceiling is lovely and I'm a leopard fan, so the carpet made me so happy. Having the beautiful beach in the backyard truly feels like paradise. Plus the pool is spectactular. Best vacation of my life and I will forever remember & cherish this experience.

75th Birthday! The house is amazing. The beach beautiful. Wish we could afford it every year but it was worth it for at least this one. Appreciate the elevator! Loved the jacuzzi. The sea was a bit chilly, but we swam anyway. Walking on the beach was delightful.

We had 17 family members, from Ohio and Colorado. The first time many of us have been together in 2 years, mostly due to covid. The house was great for all of us. Kitchen had plenty of space and everything you needed. The pool was great and very close to the beach. The house was clean and everything worked well. We were there mid July. The location was close to restaurants, bars and shops but very busy and crowded, especially on the weekend. The house sits right next to hotels and bars and the pier. That and a problem with ants around the pool( they come off the sand) are probably my two biggest complaints. Overall a wonderful house.

You won't find a more perfect home to rent than Casa Banana, The house is beautiful--with dream bedrooms, huge gourmet kitchen. game room and lots of spaces to sit around and the enjoy the scenery and family time. You could spend a whole day just looking at the décor--it's that gorgeous. The pool was wonderful--plus Casa Banana is right on the ocean. It's close to shops, IOP Connector, restaurants and grocery store. You will love everything about it and will never want to leave!

Beach Home Like No Other Home Away from Home

. We've been back 2 weeks and are still talking about our stay at Casa Banana. The original plan was to be there last September, but Mother Nature changed our plans when the storm shut everything down. Thanks to the kindness and cooperation of the property manager (Tina Smith), we were able to re-schedule for the spring. After a quick and easy check-in, our group of 10 friends were blown away with the unique interior design of this home. We actually took more time than planned just to explore this amazing home and all of the amenities. Then it was a quarter-mile quick trip to pick up groceries and a 2 minute walk from the house to choose from 4 or 5 great places to grab dinner...everything is so convenient. We had couples join us for the first half of the week, then our adult kids and grandchildren for the last part of the week. Everyone (from age 2 to 72) found this house not only met our needs, but continued to amaze and amuse us on a daily basis, We had one minor issue with a grill (1 of 2 available), called for assistance, and it was remedied promptly with no disruption. We also used the service to have towels and sheets changed at mid-week with excellent results. We even rented a nice selection of beach toys for the kids. Tina made arrangements for us and the charges were very reasonable. We could offer more details about the home and the way it was decorated, but going to the website and viewing will be much more fun than reading our description. There is no doubt we will return to Casa Banana.

It is an amazing house, beyond my expectations!

It was an amazing week, the house was actually perfect in so many ways. The location was great so we could bike ride to the business district. For the twenty somethings it was next door to a bar where they were able to frequent and enjoy. The kitchen was beyond my expectations. We had every intent to eat dinner out every night, but the Kitchen was so well supplied and more than enough appliances that we ended up cooking dinner and eating in 5 of the 7 nights we stayed. The large beach was perfect and the pool gave us a place to play into the evening. We had a wonderful and memorable time and I would recommend this house without any hesitations. Just don't pick the week that I like to stay there. : ) The listing description was right on, and the property was very clean and well maintained. A few years ago we also stayed in Casa Flamingo and enjoyed it too!!

Never Disappoints!

My husband and I were married in IOP a few years ago, and return each year to celebrate our anniversary. As part of this tradition, we stay in Casa Banana every year as we could not ask for a more perfect vacation rental! The location can't be beat - oceanfront with terrific views from all ocean-facing rooms, our own pool and hot tub to enjoy, and the fun of all the different themed rooms. The kitchen has recently been renovated and it is absolutely gorgeous! (would probably make a few Iron Chefs envious!) Plenty of plates, drinkware, utensils, pots & pans ... everything needed to create meals for a crowd. We didn't want to leave - it's simply paradise! Until next time!

Perfect Summer Vacation

This was our 3rd year in a row at a "Casa" property--first at Casa Margarita, last year at Casa Flamingo and this year at Casa Banana, We loved each one but I have to say I think Casa Banana is my personal favorite. Close to IOP Connector, shops, restaurants and grocery store. Beautiful new walkway to beach, gorgeous pool. Clean, well appointed, with every amenity you could imagine. Our family of 12 would not stay at any other property on Isle of Palms except a Casa"--we've already booked for next year!

Spectacular summer beach house

They say in real estate: location, location, location. Well, this house has it all. Easy to get to from Charleston airport, the beach is your back yard and the Isle of Palms area has every amenity you may need. The house is fun and whimsical and a joy to just walk around in. With a large pool, hot tub and plenty of deck and poolside seating, theres plenty of room. Bedrooms are comfy and roomy. The house is clean and well maintained. The managers were always prompt in answering calls and emails. Watersports at Tidalwave Watersports were a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed everything about the house and our time there. They already want to go back. I would recommend this house without hesitation.

Plenty of dining space, great open concept, dishes and cooking items that were provided were perfect for us because we cooked all week. Plenty of storage space. Loved the garage for storing all of the beach and pool items. Can't wait to go back!!!

We all had a wonderful time! The adults & kids both loved your decorating. We had 6 kids 8 & under who enjoyed the pools & the little ones thought the kids pools were great & it made it easier for the adults to watch them. Beach was phenomenal - our weather was great. Nice hot tub. Charleston was fun with lots to do. A special thanks for the gift basket.

Celebrating our 50 year graduation

13 of us - 11 nursing program grads celebrating our 50 year graduation - from all over the USA now!! Perfect house & setting for us all to gather and become reacquainted. Some of us haven't seen each other for all 50 years!! But of course, none of us had changed at all! The comfort, space and amenities of this great house allowed us to almost duplicate our school dorm experience - talking into the wee hours, doing a puzzle, and much more.... We'd definitely do it all over!!!

Our extended family had an AMAZING WEEK at the Casa Banana. What a great home for fun families to enjoy. Our kids wanted to stay forever. Every day was special. Casa Banana is a fun playhouse!!! We really enjoyed ourselves. Loved the pool table, the fun mannequins, the pool, the porch. The attention to detail in the various theme rooms was pitch perfect. This house is terrific for accommodating large parties. Loved it!!
