A holiday street fair, par excellence.
One of the Lowcountry’s most delightful historic neighborhoods puts on a fabulous street fair that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit.
The Old Village of Mount Pleasant oozes with charm on an ordinary day. But add in the Christmas season, and you’ve got magic.
The beloved local event is back on Saturday, December 16th from 2:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Pedestrians and vendors take over the area of Pitt Street, near the Post House Restaurant, the Pitt Street Pharmacy and beyond. There will be:
- A huge array of exhibitors, artists and artisans, vendors, purveyors of unique goods;
- Delicious culinary creations, gourmet baked goods, clothing for all ages, jewelry, art, cookware, Christmas ornaments, and much more;
- Pitt Street shops open with specials and cheerful holiday displays;
- Live music from Motown Throwdown plus tuned from DJ Mosaic;
- Food and drinks available for purchase from Post House, Basic Kitchen, Sullivan's Fish Camp, Coastal Crust Pizza, and Welton's;
- Interactive kids activities;
- A special visit from Santa Claus!
- Organized by the goof folks at Basic Projects and Out of Hand.
