Here’s a delicious new event brought to you by the folks of the Post & Courier. Their Food Section offers great coverage of the cuisine scene in the Holy City, including foodie news, interviews and reviews.
Now they’re putting the spotlight on new establishments opening up around Charleston, and they’ve cooked up an event where you can sample among their best dishes. Some haven’t even officially opened to the public yet.
So here’s your chance to get a sneak peek - or rather, sneak taste - of their menus.
At their inaugural event in October 2022, the lineup included: Bedford Falls, Blu Oyster Sushi & Seafood, Caribo Flip, Chill Charleston, Coterie, The Grit Counter, Heavy's Barburger, The Honey Hive, The Lux, Minero Mexican Grill & Cantina, and The Pass. Subsequent events included establishments like Alcove Market, Azur Charleston, Hugh Baby's BBQ & Burger Shop, Kultura, Legend Deli, Nautical Bowls, Rebel Taqueria and Three Sirens.
The Spring 2026 edition will take place in the Holy City Porter Room of Holy City Brewing, at 1021 Aragon Ave in North Charleston.
Restaurants include Riviyat and more.
Past participants include: Legami, Linnette's, Hummus Lebanese Pop-Up, Taverna Philosophia, Abbracci, Pho Lucky , The Archer, Catrina's Tacos & Tequila and Kooben Cafe.
Tickets include tastings from participating purveyors and are available online for $35 per person while they last. Drinks are courtesy of Holy City Brewing.
