Get Directions“South Carolina’s premier annual Smooth Jazz event” is a Labor Day weekend tradition in the Lowcountry.
Get set for a weekend of cool sounds, centered at the world-class Gaillard Center in downtown Charleston.
The festival traditionally kicks off the Friday evening of Labor Day weekend with the The White Linen Cocktail Party hosted by Will & Maggie Shares. This popular VIP party usually takes place in the Gaillard Center’s Grand Ballroom - but for the first time ever, it will be held in the brand new International African American Museum, at 14 Wharfside Street in downtown Charleston. You’re requested to wear all white attire, while you enjoy a live performance by top jazz musician Nathan Mitchell and enjoy admission to the exciting new museum.
The Festival’s official Day One is Saturday. 2023's Lowcountry Jazz Festival performers included Jonathan Butler and Gregory Porter. Day Two wraps up the festival on Sunday, with 2023 performances by Avery*Sunshine and Dave Koz Summer Horns with Candy Dulfer, Eric Darius, & Maysa Leak.
