Get DirectionsOne of the biggest area music festivals is back again with a stellar lineup.
High Water Festival was started by acclaimed group Shovels & Rope, a globally known band who started right here in the Lowcountry.
They’ve quickly built High Water into one of the preeminent music festivals in the region. They pull together the hottest musical talent, and tickets sell out in record time.
The venue is Riverfront Park in North Charleston, which is rapidly becoming the it-spot for events. Riverfront Park also now hosts the Culinary Village tents for the Charleston Wine + Food Festival, which used to be located in Marion Square in downtown Charleston.
High Water Festival will take place on two main stages - the Edisto and the Stono.
Here's the lineup for the 2026 festival: On Saturday, April 18th, it's headliners Alabama Shakes and My Morning Jacket. Other performers include: Lake Street Dive and Maren Morris, plus Watchhouse, Jensen McRae, Arcy Drive, Trousdale, The Runarounds and Winyah. On Sunday, April 19th, the headliner is Sheryl Crow, Jesse Wells and Peach Pit, along with performances by Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, Chance Pena, Penny & Sparrow, Hey, Nothing and Alice Phoebe Lou.
The High Water experience is not just music. It’s also about the food, with a slew of great noshes from the likes of And Lobster LLC, BKEDSHOP, Cosmic Charlie’s Grateful Grill, Roti Rolls, Tinto Y Crema, Tres Palmas Acai, Tamashii, Verde, Hebros Kitchen and a bunch more. Beverages abound. There’s also a stellar High Water Market with local vendors and merch worth checking out.
If you are interested in attending High Water, you’d better lock down those tickets ASAP. In addition to general admission, VIP, and Platinum tickets, they also offer all-inclusive weekender packages. Tickets go on sale in October (10/16/25).
