It’s another beloved Easter tradition near the Isle of Palms.

Boone Hall oak allée

Come celebrate Easter on the grounds of one of the Lowcountry’s favorite spots.

It’s the annual, gigantic, open air service on the lush grounds of Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens in Mount Pleasant, just over the Connector from the IOP.

St. Andrews Church in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant invites everyone to their annual community Easter service of celebration.  It takes place on the wide lawn behind the main house at Boone Hall.

Gates open at 7:30 a.m., and there is no charge to enter or to park.  If you come in the main gate on Long Point Road, you’ll drive down the famous oak allée toward the house and the lawn.  Music starts at 8:30 a.m., with the service itself beginning at 9:00 a.m.  It will be over by 10:00 a.m.

The Boone Hall Easter service is always very popular.  Organizers expect a few thousand people, so get there early if possible.  You’re asked to bring chairs or a blanket as seating will not be provided.  Children are welcome and are encouraged to sit with their families.

The grounds of Boone Hall are gorgeous, and the gardens are in bloom.  You are free to tour them at no charge after the service is over.
