Charleston Half Marathon

The Charleston Half Marathon has been around for 15 years, but in 2024 they moved the whole race route to historic downtown Charleston. 

The PNC Bank Charleston Half Marathon and 5K will have their starts at Burke High at 244 President Street.  The finish line and epic post-race party will take place at The Joe (Joe Riley Stadium, home of the RiverDogs), at 360 Fishburne Street.

Here’s more:

• Half Marathon begins at 7:00 a.m.
• Local bands will be playing along the race route to help you keep the pace;
• Plenty of support staff, EMT, police and volunteers along the route;
• Scenic spots along the route include Hampton Park, Wagener Terrace, the Citadel and the Ashley River, the Battery and White Point Gardens;
• 5K race begins at 8:00;
• Kids' Fun Youth Run begins at 10:30;
• Plenty of swag, refreshments, live entertainment and activities.
