Get DirectionsThere’s a festival for wine + food, so it stands to reason there'd be one to celebrate beer, too.
The Charleston Beer Festival is back again, at the lovely and ever-popular Riverfront Park in North Charleston. They've moved it up a month, so you don't have to wait till October. September 9, 2023 was the day, and it was by far the biggest Beer Fest to date - with more than 60 breweries on hand, both local and from around the country.
Date and details for 2024 haven't been announced yet, so stay tuned. But here's what was on tap in 2023...
Not only will there be plenty of craft beer to drink, there will be a Homebrew Village, Beer Games, live music, 20 food trucks, Vendor Village with 30 vendors of crafts and artisanal products, and more. Headliners will be the Grammy-winning group, Rebirth Brass Band. The fun goes on from 1:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.

Charleston Beer Festival also supports a good cause, with proceeds going toward public health initiatives of Palmetto Community Care.
Tickets are $30 to $50 (depending on tier) for general admission, which includes 10 beer sampling tickets and a commemorative mug. VIP tickets are $55 to $95 and includes early access (noon), entry to the VIP Oasis and Swag Bar and 20 sampling tickets. Ticket prices increase the day of the festival. Designated driver tickets are $20 to $25. It’s a rain-or-shine event. You can purchase tickets on the official festival website.
