ArtFest

It’s Mount Pleasant Towne Centre’s annual celebration of the creative  -  ArtFest  -  and it takes place just over the IOP Connector. 

Their tagline is, “The Art of Fun!”

Talented regional and local artists will display their creations.  Check out live performances by local music and dance studios, and stroll among the many exhibits and vendors as well as a juried art show by the Mount Pleasant Artists Guild. 

This year's “Art Walk” will feature work by Clay and Sea, Joe Benton Photography, Momma Maddies Sweetgrass Jewelry & Collectibles, Bright Star Designs, Potting Around, Jason Travis Woodwork, Olatu Designs, Little Arrows Candle Co., Bair da Bru, Moonstar Macrame, Hyssop & Honey Art Boutique, Beachy Keen by KK, Donna Murray Art and KLM Jewelry.

IEspecially for kids, there’s Good Clean Fun’s Spin Art Bike, caricatures, sweetgrass demonstrations, baton twirling, arts & crafts, and classes in making balloon animals. 

Food vendors include local faves like Charleston RiverDogs Food Truck, Big Shrimpin’, Zimos Gyros, Chick-fil-A, Crazy Chris’s Concessions, Wetzel’s Pretzels, Kona Ice, Holy City Popcorn, Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Pure Fluff Co. Beer and wine will be available for purchase from Burtons Grill & Bar.

The event is free, as are all activities, performances and parking. 

ArtFest is from 11:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. and centers around “The Oaks,” which is located in Towne Centre just across the street from Barnes & Noble.
