Mount Pleasant Farmers Market
April 13, 2010 to October 19, 2010 shop the local farmer's market every Tuesday 4:00 PM until dark. Moultrie Middle School, Coleman Blvd (Rte. 703) A popular local event. Shop for fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, flowers, and other treats while enjoying live music. Dinner is available from numerous food vendors, and there are activities for the kids. Take Palm Blvd (703) to Sullivan's Island, follow 703 across the drawbridge into Mt. Pleasant. The market is on the left, there is parking on the right. Can't miss it.
County Park of Isle of Palms
The only beach on the island that provides lifeguards, changing rooms, etc. A small entrance fee.
Loaves & Fishes program
The First United Methodist Church collects unopened nonperishable food items on Saturday mornings between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The food is sorted and delivered to East Cooper Community Outreach. 21st Ave and Palm Blvd (843) 886-6610

Fall Candlelight Tours of Homes & Gardens, 2010

Fort Moultrie

Patriot's Point Naval and Maritime Museum

Charles Pinckney National Historic Site
1254 Long Point Road, Snee Farm,Mount Pleasant. 28-acre historic site is a remnant of Pinckney's 715-acre plantation, historically known as Snee Farm.
